How Can We Help?

We’ve pulled some of the most frequently asked questions and compiled them into one place. Should you have any other questions that we may have missed, contact us and we will do our best to help you.


What kinds of therapy do you offer?

We offer mental health care to men and women ages 10 and older. We cater to those looking for healing from psychotherapy including trauma processing, assistance with common mental health struggles such as anxiety, depression, life transitions, and a variety of other diagnoses.

How does online therapy work?

The Therapy Room utilizes a HIPAA compliant platform called Therapy Notes which offers unique links for each appointment to ensure all client information is safe. Prior to each appointment, clients will sign on from the comfort of their own home. Once the appointment is over and you log off, the link will become inactive. A new link will be sent prior to your next appointment.

Each session is just like a traditional in-office setting, but you can skip the travel time and traffic! You can miss less time at work or less time with family and still make your mental health a priority.

The benefit of tele-therapy is that you are no longer tied to finding a qualified therapist in your area. Our therapists are all licensed in Florida, so we are currently accepting clients from all over the state.

Do you offer CBT, DBT or EMDR Therapy?

At this time, all of our providers utilize different forms of CBT and DBT Therapy in their sessions to help aide in the healing process. 

Currently, EMDR Therapy is  practiced by Coleen Hernandez, Katie Bergman, and Holly Chancey.

Can you perscribe me any medication for my mental illness?

At this time we do not have a psychiatrist or medical doctor on site to prescribe and administer any sort of medication management. 

We do work with a few different facilities that we can refer you to if needed.

Do you offer couples therapy or marriage counseling?

Yes! We have a few providers that offer couples therapy and marriage counseling at this time!

Do you offer in-office appointments?

Yes! We offer in-office appointments at our office located at 2581 Huntcliff Lane in Panama City, Florida.

Do you have a cancellation policy?

We understand life happens sometimes! If you need to reschedule or cancel, please reach out as soon as possible. All appointments cancelled within 24 hours are charged a $75 cancellation fee to the card on file.

Do you take insurance?

We are in-network providers with Cigna, Magellan, Tricare, Aetna, AvMed, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Optum and United Health networks currently. 


Otherwise, all costs are self-pay. Please note: if you have insurance, while we go to significant lengths to ensure our estimates are as accurate as possible, please be aware that everything is an estimate until the claim has been finalized. Our patients are responsible for knowing health benefits covered by their insurance plan.


All copays are due at the time of service and are collected through the credit card required on file at the time of intake.
