Meet Amanda:
I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Florida. I have served in the field of Mental Health and Addiction since 2015. I have a dual Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling and Marriage and Family Therapy from Barry University. My primary focus has been working with clients between the ages of 15 to age 65 in various mental health settings from aftercare programs, working with couples and families, to addiction treatment.

I enjoy working in the field of mental health and believe in helping individuals that I serve by identifying thought and behavioral patterns they wanting to change and learn ways to reframe these unhelpful patterns through the use of Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy techniques, as well as incorporating Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Motivational Interview skills, and Solution-Focused Therapy. I truly believe in collaborating with my clients in their emotional goals as a supportive counselor during the therapeutic process. I believe there is no one size fits all method to receiving therapy.

I believe in the vision of therapeutic intervention offering clients real hope in making a change in managing their life concerns through talk therapy. I fully believe through the therapeutic alliance, as well as when people discover self-acceptance and ultimately believe they are worthy of a balanced life, positivity, and self-love, that lasting healing is possible.
